Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 avocados, pitted, cut in half
  • 2 cups cooked snow crabmeat
  • 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • Dash Worcestershire sauce
  • Paprika or crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lettuce leaves

  1. Sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice on each avocado; season lightly with salt. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl place crabmeat, mayonnaise, ketchup, chili powder, Worcestershire and remaining lemon juice; mix gently to combine.
  3. Fill the avocado halves with crab salad. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
  4. Place lettuce leaves on 4 salad plates. Place 1 stuffed avocado half on top of lettuce, and serve.
