Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz.) can refried beans
  • 1 (16-oz.) pkg. sour cream
  • 1 (1.25-oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese
  • 1 (16-oz.) jar salsa
  • 1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 (8-oz.) jar taco sauce
  • Tortilla chips and/or vegetable chips for serving

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread refried beans evenly in bottom of 3-quart rectangular baking dish. In a small bowl combine sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread over refried beans. Layer with cheese, salsa, tomato, taco sauce, and green onions.
  2. Bake, uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips and/or vegetable chips.
