- Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange tomatoes, cut side up, in a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Season tomato tops with salt and pepper to taste; sprinkle with garlic. Drizzle tomatoes with 1 tablespoon oil. Bake, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes or until softened. Remove from oven.
- Preheat broiler to high. In a small bowl stir together breadcrumbs, parsley, basil and thyme. Carefully sprinkle on tomato tops; drizzle with remaining oil. Broil tomatoes 2 to 3 minutes or until breadcrumb mixture is golden. Serve warm.
