- Place apple slices and (if desired) orange peel in a 1-quart microwave-safe baking dish. Drizzle with maple syrup; toss to mix. Dot with butter; cover loosely. Microwave on HIGH 3 to 5 minutes or until apples are crisp-tender, stirring once.
- Meanwhile, for sauce, in a small bowl combine yogurt, cinnamon and nutmeg. To serve (either hot or at room temperature), spoon apples into individual dishes and drizzle with sauce.
