Cinnamon Nutmeg French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 8 slices brioche or white bread
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon into a bowl.
  2. Dip bread into mixture, coating both sides.
  3. Spray pan with nonstick spray, and melt butter over medium high heat.
  4. Cook french toast approximately 45 seconds on each sides, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve immediately with warm maple syrup and enjoy.
