- For the salsa, in a food processor combine tomatillos, jalapeño, onion, cilantro, 2 teaspoons of the lime juice, half the minced garlic, and 1?8 teaspoon of the salt; process until smooth. Set aside.
- For the marinade, in a small bowl combine remaining 4 teaspoons lime juice, remaining minced garlic, remaining 1?8 teaspoon salt, and cumin. Place steaks in a large resealable bag; add marinade. Seal bag; turn to coat. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat broiler to high. Coat broiler pan rack with nonstick cooking spray. Place steaks on rack. Place pan under broiler. Broil 6 to 8 minutes per side or until an instant-read thermometer registers 145°F for medium-rare. Remove pan from oven; let steaks stand 3 minutes. Serve with tomatillo salsa.
