Ingredients

  • 5 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
  • 1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes with mild green chiles, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped*
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne
  • Tortilla chips

  1. In a large bowl mash avocados with a fork to desired consistency. Stir in tomatoes, cilantro, green onions, lime juice, jalapeño, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, cayenne, and salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with tortilla chips.
