Classification: FDA Class I Recall
Summary: This recall has been initiated in an abundance of caution by Van’s International Foods because it was discovered that wheat-containing product was distributed in Van’s Gluten Free Original Waffle packaging. Subsequent investigation revealed that the issue was caused by cartons for Van’s Gluten Free Original Waffles being included in error on a pallet dedicated to cartons intended for wheat containing products. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
