Woodford Reserve Bourbon offers a perfectly balanced taste comprised of more than 200 detectable flavor notes, from bold grain and wood, to sweet aromatics, spice, and fruit & floral notes. To craft the balanced taste of Woodford Reserve Bourbon consistently, we carefully batch a variety of barrels. We select barrels for batching based on their flavor profile so each batch can vary according to the flavors our barrels bring out. Because each barrel matures at its own rate, they take on a character of their own. As we taste barrels we occasionally find barrel combinations very interesting - and different from our standard offering.
