Ingredients

  • 1/2 (15-oz.) pkg. refrigerated piecrusts (1 crust)
  • 1 cup shredded GruyÃre or Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 3 medium plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Let piecrust stand at room temperature 15 minutes. Line a 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet with foil. Unroll crust onto pan.
  2. Sprinkle cheese, Italian seasoning and rosemary on crust up to 1 inch of the edge. Arrange tomato slices on top of cheese. Combine pepper and garlic powder; sprinkle over tomatoes. Fold edges of crust over tomatoes.
  3. Place pan in oven. Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes. Use the foil to transfer the tart to a serving platter. Slice tart, and serve.
