Brussel Sprouts


  • 1 lb of Brussels sprouts, cut in half
  • 7 slices of bacon, baked crispy in the oven
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup red pepper, small diced


  1. In a medium sized pot, bring water to a strong boil, and blanch the Brussels sprouts for 3-4 minutes. Strain sprouts and transfer them into a pan over medium-high heat with chopped bacon. Sauté together for another 2 minutes. Finish with honey and top with red pepper.
