3 Glazes Honey Baked Ham

  • 8 to 10 pound smoked ham
  • 8 oz. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey


  1. Bake the ham in a roasting pan to collect the drippings. Cover the ham and bake for half the total time.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat melt the brown sugar and honey for the glaze. Baste the ham with the mixture and continue to cook covered, basting occasionally as it cooks.
  3. Chef Stu recommends removing the lid for at least 15-20 minutes to get a nice brown crust. Inside temperature should reach 165º F.
