D&W provides fresh food from beef ground fresh daily, seafood flown in daily and fresh bread made daily. 

Our produce is fresh and most of it is from local farms in Michigan.

When it comes to fruits and vegetables, you most likely already know the basics.  If you want something with vitamin C, you might pick up a citrus fruit.  But did you know that a kiwifruit ranks high in vitamin C, too?  And then there's fiber.  Just about everyone knows that prunes are a good source, but raspberries are also high in fiber.  Here are some other good sources of vitamins - that might surprise you.

High in Fiber - blackberries, grapefruit, kiwifruit, oranges and raspberries.

High in Vitamin A - apricots, cantaloupes, carrots, collard greens, hot chile peppers, leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, mangoes, nectarines, peaches, spinach, sweet potatoes.

High in Vitamin C - broccoli, cabbage, cantaloupes, cauliflower, grapefruit, green peppers, Brussels sprouts, kiwifruit, oranges, papayas, strawberries, mustard greens.

High in Iron - white beans, spinach

Sodium-Free Favorites - apples, avocado, bananas, bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, grapefruit, kiwifruit, mushrooms, oranges, potatoes, summer squash

Good sources of Folate - asparagus, endive, lima beans, pigeon beans, pinto beans, strawberries, garbanzo beans, lentils, mustard greens, pink beans, spinach, white beans.
