Celebrate Veterans Day

To commemorate Veterans Day, Family Fare is proud to honor current servicemembers and veterans of the Armed Forces by offering an 11 percent discount on all eligible products. The 11 percent discount will be offered Sunday, Nov. 10 and Monday, Nov. 11. 

Family Fare is committed to serving our military heroes and their families, both at home and abroad, and this Veterans Day – and throughout the year – this is just one small way we can say “thank you for your service!”

All active duty, Reserve, National Guard and veterans who visit Family Fare on Nov. 10 or 11 will receive the 11 percent discount*. 

In addition to the 11 percent discount, stores will hold a moment of silence at 11 a.m. and host other in-store commemorations to honor and thank veterans. We invite you to join us!

Family Fare is also proud to continue the tradition of collecting old, worn, frayed and/or faded American flags to ensure their proper retirement. Flags are collected at the customer service counter, and we partner with local veterans groups such as the VFW and American Legion or Boy and Girl Scout troops to pick up and to properly retire the flags we collect. Since 2015, more than 2,500 flags have been retired through the program.

Since 1919, we as a nation have dedicated the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to veterans as a tribute to the day and time the armistice was signed to end World War I. Throughout the history of our nation, veterans have showed their loyalty and dedication in protecting our nation.
